Then comes the moment when you start doubting if there's actually enough time left. That's the point where you start panicking about not being able to get it done before the deadline, and that's when productivity finally kicks in. Why are you like this? It's risky. You seem to be only powered by stress, caffeine, and pure determination. We have this strange confidence that we will somehow manage to get it done, even when we're not doing it. It's a weird illusion; our assignments sit untouched for days, and motivation disappears until further notice.

You tell yourself this will be the last time you cut it so close. Next time, you'll be organized and in total control of your responsibilities. You'll start early, finish early, and never panic again. At least, that's the plan… Until the readings start piling up again and you're back in the cycle. But hey, you've got this. You got this far somehow, so you must have done something right. Keep going!
Now go study, serial procrastinator. We all know what you should be doing right now. You'll thank me later.
